The right care, in the right place, at the right time
Our Patients First budget delivers the largest health care investment in Saskatchewan history — $8.5 billion.
That means 60 new permanent hospital beds in Saskatoon, new Urgent Care Centres in five communities, the largest nurse practitioner expansion in Saskatchewan history, a new MS Clinic in Regina, and 200 new addictions treatment spaces.
Sadly, the NDP voted against all of it.
Supporting Saskatchewan workers
Saskatchewan workers are resilient, and we’re making sure they have the support they need.
Through a new partnership with the Government of Canada, we’re investing $15.6 million to help workers impacted by tariffs retrain and connect to new opportunities.
This is about protecting jobs and keeping our economy strong, safe and secure.
Doubling the Volunteer First Responders’ Tax Credit
Our volunteer first responders put themselves on the line to keep Saskatchewan communities safe.
That’s why our 2026-27 Budget is doubling the Volunteer First Responders’ Tax Credit, recognizing the risks taken by firefighters, search and rescue teams, and emergency personnel across our province.
Protecting our children
Australia has moved in this direction.
Canada should be considering options to limit social media use by minors.
In the coming weeks, our government will be asking Saskatchewan people for their views on this matter.
Celebrating one year carbon tax free
Just over one year ago, Saskatchewan became the first province in Canada to be completely carbon tax free.
The results speak for themselves. We’ve got the lowest unemployment, the fastest growing economy, and the most affordable cities to live in Canada.
But our economy is still fragile in the face of global uncertainty. That’s why it’s so important to have strong leadership from Premier Moe and the Saskatchewan Party.
We know the NDP would bring back the carbon tax as fast as they can if they ever formed government.
Their new leader Avi Lewis wants to ban all oil and gas projects, shut down our energy sector, and put thousands of Saskatchewan workers out of work.
We simply cannot afford to let that happen.
