Cutting the Cost of New Hospitals and Long-Term Care Centres
We’re removing a major barrier to health care construction across Saskatchewan — reducing the required community share for new long-term care centres and hospitals from 20% to 10%. That means communities across this province will be able to pursue the major health facilities they need without shouldering as much of the cost upfront. Fewer financial barriers means more projects, and more projects means better access to care.

More Medical Training Seats Right Across Saskatchewan
We’re expanding medical training seats right across the province — which means more future doctors training closer to home, and more likely to stay and serve the communities they grew up in. As Dr. Sarah Forgie, Dean of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan, put it: “Where students are exposed during their training, they are more likely to stay — so we are really excited we’ve got new seats across the province.”

Expanding What Nurse Practitioners Can Do for Patients
This week, Premier Moe announced that we’re expanding what nurse practitioners can offer to communities across Saskatchewan. By broadening the scope of practice for these highly skilled professionals, more Saskatchewan residents will be able to get the care they need — closer to home, and without waiting.
Nurse practitioners are a vital part of our health care system. Letting them do more means better care for patients from Estevan to La Ronge.
The NDP’s Power Plan Would Cost You 10 Times More
The NDP Leader revealed this week that their power generation plan would rely on liquefied natural gas (LNG) — shipped in from BC at 10 times the cost of SaskPower’s current natural gas supply.
Premier Moe made the math plain: that plan means spending 10 times as much on power generation, and driving SaskPower rates through the roof. Saskatchewan families and businesses would pay the price for an energy policy built on ideology rather than common sense.
Saskatchewan families can’t afford an opposition party that doesn’t do the math. No wonder no one takes them seriously.
