Saskatchewan adds 5,800 jobs in March
New jobs numbers were released by Statistics Canada on Friday and Saskatchewan continues to have strong growth.
5,800 jobs were added in Saskatchewan in March, and our unemployment rate dropped to 5%. That’s the lowest provincial unemployment rate in Canada. Year over year, full time employment is up by 15,000 jobs, or 3.1%.
Global economic uncertainty has made this a challenging time for many, but we have a plan to Protect Saskatchewan. We’re lowering taxes, strengthening our economy, and making record investments in public services like health care.

With two buses now visiting 42 rural and northern communities each year, we’re expanding access, catching cancer earlier, and putting patients first — right care, right place, right time.

Protecting Livestock Producers From Growing Predator Pressures
