Kim Gartner was first elected MLA for Kindersley-Biggar in 2024 and currently serves as Minister of Highways. Gartner built a 35-year career in municipal administration, including 30 years as CAO for the Town of Macklin. He is a Past President of the Urban Administrators Association of Saskatchewan and has served as a School Trustee for the Living Sky School Division. Born and raised on a family farm east of Macklin, Gartner and his wife Colleen have four children and four granddaughters.
