Everett Hindley

Everett Hindley was first elected MLA for Swift Current in a 2018 byelection and re-elected in 2020 and 2024. He currently serves as Minister of Education, and has previously served as Minister of Health and as Minister of Mental Health and Addictions, Seniors and Rural and Remote Health. He grew up on a family farm in northeast Saskatchewan and worked for several years as a news director and broadcaster in Swift Current before entering politics in 1999. Hindley is a member of his local Kiwanis Club and the Royal Canadian Legion; he and his partner Erin and their family make their home in Swift Current.
