Darlene Rowden was first elected MLA for Batoche in 2024 and currently serves as Minister of Environment. Rowden and her family own and operate R&B Wilson Ranching, a fourth-generation ranch east of MacDowall. With a lifelong passion for agriculture, she has served on the Prince Albert Exhibition Board, as a 4-H Beef leader, and for 14 years as a school board trustee, including as board chair of the Saskatchewan Rivers School Division. Rowden and her husband live near MacDowall; they have three children.
