Before entering politics, Alana Ross worked in Saskatchewan’s health care sector as a front-line nurse, unit union representative, in various management positions, and as a post-secondary instructor. First elected MLA for Prince Albert Northcote in 2020 and re-elected in 2024, she currently serves as Minister of Parks, Culture and Sport, Minister responsible for the Status of Women, Tourism Saskatchewan and Francophone Affairs, and has previously served as Government Deputy Whip. Ross has three grown children and one grandchild, and lives in Prince Albert Northcote.
