Saskatchewan, we’ve listened, and we’ve heard you. We have made progress but there’s more to do.
This week, we announced the Patients First Health Care Plan which focuses on ensuring patients get the right care in the right place at the right time, by expanding access to primary care, strengthening the health care workforce, and improving diagnostics and surgical capacity.

We are working together with our health care stakeholders to put patients first. Here’s what the Saskatchewan Association of Nurse Practitioners had to say:
“What excites me most about today’s announcement is the focus on collaborative, team-based, patient-centered care.
This direct support creates more opportunity for an RN to train as an NP while lessening the financial burden of higher education. In turn, the development of a Saskatchewan-based workforce with return for service agreements builds stability within the provincial health care system.
From the NP contract expansion, and emphasis of NPs as primary care providers, to the use of NPs as the most responsible provider in LTC, ER, and urgent care, it is inspiring to see the full potential and impact of NPs being supported by the province.”
Making Saskatchewan the most affordable place to live
Saskatoon and Regina are ranked as the most affordable cities to live in Canada. That’s in part due to the many measures that our government has brought in to lower taxes and make life more affordable.
Where is the NDP on affordability? They continue to change their position on just about every topic and that is why no one can take them seriously. Watch Premier Moe take them on in Question Period this week.
