Passing the Compassionate Intervention Act
This week, we passed the Compassionate Intervention Act to get people with serious addictions issues into recovery spaces. The law focuses on those who pose a significant risk of harm to themselves or others, and it’s part of our broader plan to expand recovery opportunities while increasing enforcement against the dealers bringing drugs into our communities. Sadly, the NDP voted no.
Our team chose recovery and enforcement. The NDP chose “clean crack pipes” and decriminalization. There could not be a clearer difference between our two parties.

He shared a goal he holds with Prime Minister Carney — that Canada becomes a global energy super-power, with Saskatchewan resources reaching reliable markets at home and abroad.

$2 Million for Ovarian Cancer Research
On World Ovarian Cancer Day, our government recognized the women, families, researchers, and health care teams working to improve outcomes and save lives. Saskatchewan has invested $2 million in ovarian cancer research to support earlier diagnosis, better treatments, and more personalized care.
Putting patients first means investing in the science that gives Saskatchewan women the care they deserve.
Strengthening Communities With Infrastructure That Matters
April’s Construction Update highlighted Candle Lake’s new service centre — one of many projects under Saskatchewan’s $4.3-billion capital budget for 2026–27. It’s one of the largest capital plans in our province’s history, supporting jobs and building the infrastructure communities count on.

80 Years of Saskatchewan Air Ambulance
Premier Moe took a moment this week to thank the pilots, paramedics, nurses, and maintenance teams who, for 80 years, have delivered lifesaving care through Saskatchewan Air Ambulance. From end to end of our province, this team has been there when families need them most.
